Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in events or a related role
  • Experience supporting day-of event execution and logistics
  • Ability to travel within the Portland Metro Area
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Proficiency with project management or event planning software
  • Availability to work occasional off-hours or weekends
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Northwest Portland

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in events or a similar role with a strong events focus
  • Experience supporting event execution and logistics day-of
  • Comfort traveling around the Portland Metro Area
  • Excellent project and process management skills
  • Experience with project management and/or event planning software
  • Availability for occasional off-hours or weekend work

Job Duties

  • Jump in to the department to drive seamless execution and communication around pre-planned events primarily in the community engagement space
  • Manage timelines, budgets and communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors to create seamless event experiences
  • Attend events, supporting set-up, take-down and other logistics day-of, occasionally outside business hours or on weekends
  • Drive post-event communication, receiving feedback and communicating findings to the larger events team
  • Facilitate communication across the organization, externally and with vendors and the department via email
  • Support the department in a variety of ad-hoc projects and responsibilities
