Job Description

Centric Events is recognized as Arizona's highest-rated event production company, known for its expertise in corporate events, conferences, and live productions where reliability, professionalism, and execution are of utmost importance. The company prides itself on fostering a team of next-level professionals whose mission is to flawlessly plan, prepare, and execute events that consistently earn repeat business from clients. Centric Events operates with high standards, clear expectations, and a long-term mindset, emphasizing a hands-on, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced industry. The company maintains a culture that values balance, ensuring that the demands of live events do not come at the cost of the health, family life, or well-being of its team members. This dedication to sustainable work practices is supported by professional planning, clear communication, and a respectful, ownership-driven team environment. Centric Events provides significant opportunities for career growth within a supportive company culture, aiming to elevate professionals into senior management and operations leadership roles as the company expands.

The Event Production Project Manager role at Centric Events is a senior-level, hands-on position responsible for managing live events and AV productions end-to-end. This position requires oversight from the initial sales handoff all the way through load-out for a diverse slate of corporate conferences, general sessions, concerts, and live productions across Arizona and for national clients. The role entails comprehensive project ownership: managing the production plan, budget, crew, and client relationships to ensure flawless shows delivered on time and within budget. The Project Manager interfaces directly with various internal teams including Sales, Warehouse, Scheduling, and Field operations alongside coordinators and crew members to orchestrate seamless event executions. This position demands extensive experience in managing multifaceted live events or AV productions, as well as a deep understanding of production workflows such as reading production schedules, stage plots, gear lists, and signal flow.

The ideal candidate is not an entry-level applicant or someone breaking into the industry but rather a seasoned professional who has demonstrable experience overseeing event budgets, leading crews, and managing vendor and sub-rental coordination. The role requires decisiveness, strong client-facing communication skills, and the ability to maintain calm leadership under pressure. The Event Production Project Manager is regularly on-site, contributing hands-on during critical phases such as load-in, show, and strike. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and capabilities, and includes benefits like medical insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, and equipment usage perks. This role also expects flexibility with a production schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and travel as events demand.

By joining Centric Events, the Event Production Project Manager becomes part of a professional team culture that values preparation, quality, and sustainability; all essential components that contribute to outstanding event delivery and vigorous client loyalty.
