Amazon is a global leader in technology and e-commerce, known for its customer-centric approach and innovation across multiple industries. Within this vast organization, the Event Production (EP) team plays a crucial role in delivering world-class corporate events with precision and high quality. The EP team is composed of passionate professionals dedicated to bringing live events to life, managing complex logistics, and ensuring seamless event experiences across various venues and locations. Amazon’s commitment to excellence extends into this team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment where creativity, problem-solving, and meticulous planning are key drivers of success. This team is not only about producing events but also about creating memorable, high-impact experiences tailored to meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders alike.

The Event Producer position within Amazon’s Event Production team is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, detail-oriented settings and are passionate about live event production. This role involves comprehensive event management from the initial planning stages through execution to post-event activities, requiring a blend of organizational skills, customer service, and technical know-how. The Event Producer will be responsible for producing and supporting live corporate events primarily in Seattle and Bellevue locations, involving up to 80% travel. This position entails managing event costs and quotes, coordinating with vendors and technical teams, leading customer planning meetings, and overseeing the operation of audio, video, lighting, and staging systems.

In this role, Amazon seeks someone who can navigate the complexities of live event production with precision—from developing run-of-show documents and managing technical rehearsals to troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth event execution. The Event Producer must excel in communication and collaboration, working across multiple teams and cultures within the organization. They will serve as the primary point of contact for customers on event days, adapting quickly to changes and ensuring the event's success. With a focus on continuous improvement, the role also involves supporting producer process enhancements and contributing to weekly business reviews by providing detailed event reporting.

The day-to-day life of an Event Producer at Amazon is varied and engaging. Starting weeks ahead of an event, the producer coordinates logistics, aligns with vendors, and confirms every detail for flawless execution. On event days, the role demands hands-on support, managing rehearsals, set-up, and live event operations. After events, the producer shifts to post-event activities like data reporting, vendor reconciliation, and addressing any customer needs. This end-to-end responsibility ensures a high level of event quality and customer satisfaction.

Amazon offers this position as a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $80,200 to $97,400 annually. The comprehensive Amazon benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and various wellness support programs, making this role not only professionally rewarding but also supportive of employees’ overall well-being.
