Job Description

The role of an Event Producer within Amazon's Event Production team is critical to the success of every event from inception through to completion. The Event Producer is responsible for managing all aspects of event production by coordinating logistics, managing customer relationships, overseeing technical requirements, and ensuring seamless execution on show days. This position demands someone with strong organizational skills, the ability to work across multiple teams and cultures, and an energetic approach to meeting customer and team needs. An Event Producer at Amazon engages in detailed pre-production activities such as evaluating bookings, holding planning meetings, coordinating vendor estimates and labor costs, and preparing event scripts. During event execution, the producer supports the crew, manages rehearsals, optimizes audio, video, lighting, and staging, and acts as the primary point of contact for customers to handle real-time problem solving and adjustments. Post-event responsibilities include venue strike coordination, reporting, financial reconciliation, and addressing any customer needs that arise after the event. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of production processes, technical equipment, and strong communication skills to ensure events meet Amazon’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The position is based in Seattle, WA and offers an annual salary range between $80,200 and $97,400, which includes sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs). Additional benefits encompass a robust health insurance package, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
