Job Description

Daybreaker is a global morning dance community that has captivated over 1 million participants worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. Founded in Brooklyn by three best friends passionate about dance and community, Daybreaker is more than just an event organizer—it's a movement dedicated to transforming how people socialize and start their days. The organization hosts morning dance and wellness events in some of the world’s most iconic locations, such as the top of the World Trade Center, Sydney Opera House, Smithsonian Museum, and the White House, creating unique experiences that blend energy, intention, and joy while embracing a substance-free lifestyle. These events prioritize creativity, connection, self-expression, and collective joy, offering an alternative to traditional nightlife by focusing on substance-free mornings filled with dance and fun.

Daybreaker's core philosophy is rooted in kindness, optimism, and service, making it a vibrant global family of adventure-seekers and joy enthusiasts. The organization focuses heavily on community-building and the creation of immersive experiences that allow participants to connect deeply with themselves and others. It is a movement that supports local communities, uses creativity to inspire wellness, and promotes an inclusive environment where people can express their true selves.

The available role of Daybreaker Event Producer & Community Architect is a crucial position within this dynamic company. As a Producer, you become the face of Daybreaker in your city, tasked with building and nurturing an engaged and passionate local community. You will be responsible for producing exceptional, mind-blowing events that embody the Daybreaker spirit—events that participants will remember and cherish. Your role involves finding inspiring venues, collaborating with artists and performers, cultivating a volunteer production team, working with vendors and sponsors, and creating impactful local partnerships. This position involves coordinating monthly events that consistently uphold the global Daybreaker brand while adapting to the unique culture of your city.

Supported by the Daybreaker headquarters team, which provides marketing, communications, operations, branding, sponsorship, financing, and public relations support, the Producer role is empowered to focus on the creative and community-driven aspects of planning and executing events. The HQ team works as a coach and partner, providing the structural framework and resources needed to succeed. The ideal candidate brings entrepreneurial spirit, passion, and creativity to the role to deliver fresh, inspiring, and engaging experiences for a diverse audience.

The Producer role demands a detailed and hard-working professional who lives a healthy and conscious lifestyle, ideally connected to the startup, tech, health & wellness, or local arts and culture sectors. The successful Candidate will have a substantial network of millennials and creative influencers, be a natural leader in their community, and possess the ability to orchestrate large-scale, immersive event experiences from start to finish. While Burning Man participation is not mandatory, it is considered a plus. This position embraces flexibility, requires organizational prowess, cultural savvy, and a big heart committed to spreading love, joy, and community connection.

In summary, being a Daybreaker Event Producer & Community Architect means joining a global family dedicated to fostering connection, self-expression, and wellness through joyful dance events. It is an opportunity to be part of a movement that is reshaping social experiences while growing professionally in event production, community development, and brand building within a supportive and passionate team environment.
