The role of Event Producer at PRA is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of client events and programs. This position requires a candidate who resides in Hawaii and is prepared to manage every aspect of event logistics and operations from pre-production through post-production. The Event Producer acts as the primary contact for clients during the planning phase, ensuring that all expectations are exceeded to promote client satisfaction and retention. This role involves comprehensive management of vendor relations, orders, and service acquisition, alongside overseeing event staff, contracted vendors, entertainers, and transportation logistics.

Event Producers at PRA are responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close communication with clients, hotels, and vendors. The position demands strong organizational skills, an ability to handle complex budgets, and a proven track record in client relationship management. The Event Producer is the key problem-solver on site, ensuring that every event progresses smoothly and efficiently while addressing any issues that may arise promptly.

Candidates for this role must bring at least five years of event management experience, particularly in corporate meetings, client events, and complex programs, preferably within destination management companies, corporate incentive travel, or hospitality sectors. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this role requires effective interaction with diverse groups of clients, vendors, hotel staff, and internal teams. The candidate must also be adept at multitasking and managing multiple projects with varying deadlines, demonstrating the flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and travel between islands.

The salary range for the Event Producer position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the logistical management and operational execution of client events and programs pre-and post-production
  • serves as the primary contact for the client during the pre-planning and operation of the client's program post-sale and ensures the expectations of the client are exceeded to promote client satisfaction and account retention
  • management of all vendor quotes, orders and acquiring required services
  • management of event staff, contracted vendors, and entertainers
  • management of all arrival and departure services, including the sourcing, contracting, and coordination of transportation vendors, airport greeters, and other service suppliers
  • effectively manage multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • attend required client meetings both virtually and in-person
  • point of contact for hotel and client during planning process and onsite
  • ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
  • creation and management of program budgets
  • responsible for submitting preliminary and final billing statements for every program
