Job Requirements
- Must be located in Cleveland, Akron, Northeast Ohio, or Canton area
- ability to commit to in-studio work one day per week
- availability to work 1-3 weekend events on average
- reliable internet access for remote work
- must be able to work a hybrid schedule
- ability to attend local events across Northeast Ohio
- eligible to receive stipend payments
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or graduate of a relevant college program
- experience with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently and remotely
- interest in event planning, marketing, retail, or entrepreneurship
- basic knowledge of digital marketing and content creation
- outgoing personality comfortable in sales and retail environments
Job Duties
- Develop and write eblasts, newsletters, and sales promotions
- create weekly social media plans for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
- manage Dropbox account by creating and uploading marketing content weekly
- post live on social media during events with creative and on-brand updates
- pre-spin and prepare packaged cotton candy containers for events
- assist with logistics and event prep at the studio
- prepare online and retail location orders within the studio
