We are currently offering a temporary position as an Event Planning Manager, anticipated to last a few weeks from April through May, with a competitive hourly rate of $41.00. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic Events team at a premier hotel in a prestigious location. As an Event Planning Manager, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously plan and coordinate all aspects of events stemming from sales bookings at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. This includes serving as the liaison between external group meeting planners and internal hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution. Your duties will encompass administering sales agreements, coordinating food, beverage, and audio-visual requirements, managing room blocks and pickups, overseeing billing instructions, and conducting final reviews. This position demands strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to guarantee client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • some experience in event planning or coordination

  • strong organizational skills
  • proficiency in computer applications related to event management
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
