This job opportunity is for an Event Planning Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events at the hotel. The Event Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating all event aspects, ranging from initial planning to seamless execution, with a focus on delivering memorable experiences for guests. This role acts as the liaison between customers and hotel sales personnel, providing direction and supervision during meeting, banquet, and event functions. During events, the manager is available to address client needs promptly, resolve any issues, and suggest alternatives when needed to guarantee satisfaction.
The Event Planning Manager also serves group and catering customers by proactively managing logistics such as group room blocks, food and beverage arrangements, public meeting spaces, and billing processes. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- At least 1 year of food and beverage experience
- Strong contract negotiation and interpretation skills
- Proficient in business communication both written and verbal
- Competency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Effective communication skills with the public and team members
- Time management and pressure handling abilities
- Experience with Hospitality Sales CRM systems
