Hyatt Regency properties are particularly favored for their strategic locations, professional environments, and event-hosting capabilities, making them ideal for both leisure travelers and business professionals. At the core of Hyatt's success is a commitment to service excellence, with associates who prioritize attentiveness, care, and efficiency to meet the diverse needs of guests.

Responsibilities include administering sales agreements, coordinating food, beverage, and audiovisual requirements, managing room blocks and event pickup, overseeing billing instructions, and conducting final reviews before events. Serving as the on-site contact during events, the manager ensures that each event proceeds smoothly and addresses any immediate needs or challenges.

This position requires not only strong organizational skills but also excellent communication abilities to facilitate clear interactions between clients and hotel staff. The fast-paced hotel environment demands a candidate who thrives under pressure, is highly detail-oriented, and has experience managing multiple concurrent events. Hyatt offers full-time associates comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance eligibility after 30 days, a 401K retirement plan with company match, educational assistance up to $1,000 annually, complimentary meals during shifts, and opportunities to travel and work at Hyatt properties globally. Additionally, unique perks such as discounted and complimentary hotel nights and earned wage access provide associates with flexibility and rewards for their dedication.

The Event Planning Manager position at Hyatt Regency St. Louis is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about hospitality and event management to grow their careers within a supportive, dynamic, and world-class environment. Successful candidates will bring a genuine desire to serve others, refined communication skills, and relevant experience in hotel event sales or event planning. Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to maintain organizational excellence amidst a demanding environment are essential. The Hyatt culture fosters diversity and inclusion, welcoming all qualified candidates without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status. This role offers a compelling blend of operational responsibility and client-facing interaction, ideal for individuals who enjoy creating meaningful guest experiences and driving organizational success in the hospitality industry.
