The role of Event Planning Manager at Hyatt Regency Boston Cambridge is a vital position within the hotel’s operations. The Event Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of events from initial planning through to execution. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively with both guests and internal teams. Acting as a liaison between customers and hotel sales personnel, the Event Planning Manager ensures the successful delivery of meetings, banquet functions, and various special events. This includes managing logistics related to group room blocks, food and beverage services, event setup, and the billing process. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years hotel sales experience
  • at least 1 year food and beverage experience
  • proficiency in contract negotiation and interpretation
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office and hospitality CRM systems
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently

Job Qualifications
