We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planning Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing every facet of event coordination from the initial planning stages through execution, ensuring guests have unforgettable experiences. The Event Planning Manager serves as a liaison between customers and hotel sales staff, providing guidance and supervision throughout the execution of meetings, banquets, and events. This position demands a proactive approach to client service, managing logistics that include group room blocks, food and beverage coordination, public meeting spaces, and billing processes.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and excels under pressure. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years hotel sales experience
  • 1-year food and beverage experience
  • strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
  • developed business communication skills
  • working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
  • professional appearance and confidence
  • ability to communicate effectively with public and team members
  • strong time management skills
  • experience with major hospitality sales CRM systems

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality sales
  • minimum 1 year of food and beverage experience

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of events from planning to execution
  • act as liaison between customers and hotel sales personnel
  • provide direction and supervision during meetings, banquets, and events
  • be available to customers during events to solve problems and suggest alternatives
  • manage logistics including group room blocks, food and beverage, public meeting spaces, and billing processes
