Job Requirements
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast-paced environment
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
- Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
- Preferred candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in general computer applications
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Preferably completed Event Management trainee program or have two years of hotel experience
- PSS or equivalent training preferred
Job Duties
- Administer sales agreements
- Detail all food, beverage and audiovisual needs
- Manage room blocks and pick-up
- Coordinate billing instructions and final review
- Serve as liaison between meeting planners and hotel staff
- Act as on-site contact during events
- Ensure smooth execution of all events
