The Event Planning Manager role at Hyatt Regency Atlanta is a vital position responsible for servicing hotel services to group business clients, focusing primarily on Banquet Food, Beverage, AV, and Meeting Room Rental. This position serves as the liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff, playing a key role in ensuring efficient communication and service delivery. A successful Event Planning Manager must effectively gain client commitment and collaborate across multiple departments within the hotel to ensure that services are delivered exactly as communicated to the customer. This role also involves being the onsite contact for events, ensuring their smooth execution from start to finish. Candidates are expected to be highly proficient in verbal and written communication and possess solid computer skills. Preferred candidates will have at least two years of hotel experience or have completed the Event Management Trainee program, and training like PSS or its equivalent is highly valued.
