Hyatt Regency Atlanta is a distinguished hotel that has been bringing people together since it opened its doors in 1967. Known as the "Hotel of Hope" and famously recognized by Martin Luther King Jr., Hyatt Regency Atlanta is committed to creating a "World of Understanding" through exceptional service and memorable experiences. As part of the globally respected Hyatt Hotels Corporation, this property exemplifies the standard of hospitality and care that guests have come to expect from Hyatt. The hotel is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, world-class amenities, and a team dedicated to creating meaningful and seamless guest experiences.
The Event Planning Manager role at Hyatt Regency Atlanta is a pivotal position focused on servicing group business clients by coordinating banquet food, beverage, audiovisual services, and meeting room rentals. This role acts as an essential liaison between meeting planners and the hotel’s various departments to ensure all client needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. The Event Planning Manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction by gaining client commitment and collaborating across hotel departments to execute events flawlessly.
As the on-site contact during events, the Event Planning Manager ensures that every aspect of an event's execution runs smoothly, reflecting Hyatt’s commitment to high-quality service and attention to detail. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Candidates will work with a variety of internal teams, including Banquets, Food & Beverage, Audio Visual, and Guest Services, to deliver a seamless event experience from start to finish.
At Hyatt Regency Atlanta, associates enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that reflects the company’s commitment to employee well-being and professional growth. Benefits include complimentary meals during work hours, eligibility for health care coverage (medical, dental, vision) after 30 days, 401(k) savings plans, paid holidays, sick leave, and discounted hotel room nights. There are also opportunities for vacation and paid family bonding time after one year of service. Hyatt fosters a supportive and rewarding work environment for its associates, emphasizing career development, job enrichment, and a culture of exceptional performance.
This position offers not only a career opportunity but the chance to embody the "Hyatt Touch"—a unique approach to hospitality that prioritizes genuine care and attention. The Event Planning Manager role is ideal for individuals passionate about event planning and eager to contribute to creating memorable experiences in a dynamic hospitality setting. With a focus on detail, organization, and customer-centric service, this role is a perfect fit for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and desire a rewarding career in the hotel industry.
