Job Description
McDonald’s is a global leader in the fast-food restaurant industry, recognized by millions worldwide and operating in over 100 countries. Serving approximately 70 million customers daily, McDonald’s has maintained its position as one of the world's most iconic brands for nearly 70 years by continuously evolving to meet customer expectations and by driving growth with innovative strategies. The company’s commitment extends beyond business, focusing on community values such as inclusivity, service, integrity, community engagement, and family, making it not just a place of employment but a platform for positive global impact. Initiatives like supporting the Ronald McDonald House, the Youth Opportunity project, and sustainability efforts highlight McDonald’s dedication to social responsibility and making a difference in many lives. The company also provides employees with excellent benefits, including a sabbatical program, educational assistance, and flexible work arrangements, positioning itself as a top employer in the industry.
This role as a Scheduling Coordinator and Workplace Solutions Center representative within McDonald’s Workplace Solutions department plays a crucial role in the company’s daily operations. The position focuses on two main service areas: Scheduling Coordination and the Workplace Solutions Center (7700). This is a highly visible, customer-facing role requiring extensive collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and McDonald’s employees to ensure a seamless, professional, and welcoming workplace experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be the trusted point of contact for employees arranging meetings and events at McDonald’s Conference Center and Hamburger University. You will manage reservation requests, coordinate meeting logistics such as room layouts, seating arrangements, catering, and audio-visual needs, and support clients throughout the entire event process to guarantee smooth execution. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a warm and hospitable demeanor.
Simultaneously, working in the Workplace Solutions Center, you will be a vital resource managing day-to-day facility service requests and assisting employees with technical support related to Workplace Solutions systems like Room Finder and Facility portals. Responsiveness and problem-solving skills are critical as you handle inbound customer requests, coordinate vendor services, and escalate issues as necessary. This part of the role supports the operational efficiency and positive employee experience within McDonald’s headquarters.
This position requires working onsite at McDonald’s headquarters (MHQ) with potential remote work opportunities following an initial period of 3 to 6 months. The role offers an attractive hourly wage between $27.03 and $33.79, eligibility for bonuses based on individual and company performance, and comprehensive benefits including health and welfare coverage, life insurance, 401(k) plans, adoption assistance, and educational support. McDonald’s promotes an inclusive and equitable work environment and is committed to reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities.
Working as part of McDonald’s means joining a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, hospitality, and service, with each employee playing a significant role in shaping a positive, well-coordinated workplace environment. This position is not only fundamental to operational effectiveness but also reflects McDonald’s commitment to delivering feel-good moments for every employee and guest within its community, making it an exciting career opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and customer service within a globally respected organization.
