Job Requirements

  • Bs in event management or related field preferred
  • Proven successful work experience as a sales associate, event planner/coordinator, or related field
  • Creative portfolio of previously managed events
  • Outstanding time management and communication skills
  • Solid marketing and sales skills
  • Exceptional multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Willingness to submit professional references

Job Qualifications

  • Bs in event management or related field preferred

  • Exceptional multitasking skills to manage multiple projects independently and consistently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and familiar with all relevant technology
  • Willingness to submit professional references from previous clients

Job Duties

  • Assist with all stages of planning and production of events/catering, specifically the itinerary, food and beverage design, room layout, and hotel accommodations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with corporate accounts for hotel, events, and catering needs
  • Lead tours of the property for future events such as weddings, galas, showers, meetings, etc
  • Manage and respond to inquiries in a timely manner with appropriate follow-up
  • Ability to work with customers to establish and work within a budget
