Job Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of project management experience in event or hospitality industry
- ability to create and manage budgets
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- previous management or leadership experience
- ability to work weekends and evenings
- proficiency in Flex software or ability to quickly learn
- detail-oriented and organized
- able to multitask and work in high energy environment
- excellent interpersonal skills
- knowledge of office equipment
- hospitality degree or relevant experience desirable
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience in event or hospitality industry
- proficiency in budgeting and understanding profit and loss statements
- advanced verbal and written communication skills
- prior management or leadership experience
- ability to work in high-pressure environments
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- proficiency with Flex software or willingness to learn
- familiarity with general office equipment
- excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
Job Duties
- Organizing event decor productions from design to execution
- meeting with clients to determine needs and budgets
- designing and building quotes
- coordinating vendors and venues
- overseeing loading and unloading of trucks
- managing on-site setup and execution
- creating floor plans and stage designs
- conducting pre and post-event meetings
- guiding project timelines and client deadlines
- collaborating with technical, warehouse, marketing, sales, and project management teams
- ensuring staff scheduling for event setup and teardown
- participating in design reviews
- preparing and managing job costing
- providing client and technician liaison onsite
- attending weekly status meetings
