Job Requirements

  • At least 3 to 5 years of project management experience in event or hospitality industry
  • ability to create and manage budgets
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • previous management or leadership experience
  • ability to work weekends and evenings
  • proficiency in Flex software or ability to quickly learn
  • detail-oriented and organized
  • able to multitask and work in high energy environment
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of office equipment
  • hospitality degree or relevant experience desirable

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience in event or hospitality industry
  • proficiency in budgeting and understanding profit and loss statements
  • advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • prior management or leadership experience
  • ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • proficiency with Flex software or willingness to learn
  • familiarity with general office equipment
  • excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities

Job Duties

  • Organizing event decor productions from design to execution
  • meeting with clients to determine needs and budgets
  • designing and building quotes
  • coordinating vendors and venues
  • overseeing loading and unloading of trucks
  • managing on-site setup and execution
  • creating floor plans and stage designs
  • conducting pre and post-event meetings
  • guiding project timelines and client deadlines
  • collaborating with technical, warehouse, marketing, sales, and project management teams
  • ensuring staff scheduling for event setup and teardown
  • participating in design reviews
  • preparing and managing job costing
  • providing client and technician liaison onsite
  • attending weekly status meetings
