Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in hospitality communications public relations business or related field or equivalent experience
- Four to nine years of relevant event planning or administrative coordination experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI
- Compliance with DoD 8570 Baseline and CompTIA Security+ CE certification requirements
- Experience may substitute for formal education according to DoD guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Hospitality Communications Public Relations Business or related field
- Four to nine years of experience supporting event planning or administrative coordination
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience supporting events in government or military environments is preferred
- Familiarity with federal travel and event approval regulations is a plus
- Experience with online registration and collaboration tools is beneficial
- Certified Meeting Professional or equivalent certification is desirable
Job Duties
- Assist in planning and executing moderately complex events including logistics coordination scheduling and resource management
- Coordinate with teams and vendors for event planning including scheduling meetings reserving venues AV support transportation and preparation
- Support development and dissemination of event materials such as agendas invitations and signage
- Assist with budgeting procurement tracking and contract vendor compliance
- Provide on-site event support including registration management setup and troubleshooting
- Collect post-event feedback and contribute to after-action reporting
- Maintain event documentation timeline and action items
