With convenient access in Scott Township, including free parking and a PAT bus stop at the entrance, Baptist Senior Family offers a welcoming and accessible location for residents, visitors, and staff alike.

The Event Planner role at Baptist Senior Family is a full-time position that perfectly blends creativity, relationship-building, and event management to enhance the lives of independent living residents. This role is pivotal in designing and orchestrating a diverse calendar of social, cultural, educational, and recreational programs that align with the community's Culture of Wellness. The Event Planner is responsible for organizing signature events such as elegant holiday celebrations, resident outings, clubs, and large-scale community programs by managing all aspects including entertainment, catering, décor, transportation, vendors, and event logistics.

In this role, the Event Planner collaborates closely with residents, resident committees, community organizations, and local businesses to create programming that reflects resident interests and fosters meaningful connections within the community. Effective communication is key, as the planner promotes events through monthly calendars, community engagement apps, flyers, and emails to keep residents informed and excited about upcoming activities. The position requires fostering an engaging and welcoming environment by providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with other departments such as Wellness, Dining, EVS, and Transportation to exceed resident expectations. This role offers a competitive salary based on experience and comprehensive benefits that start on day one, including health, dental, vision coverage, 403(b) matching, paid time off, and wellness extras like free access to gym and pool facilities plus personal training sessions.
