The Event Planner role at Argo Group is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about curating memorable experiences in a fast-paced environment. This position involves managing smaller and midsized events independently while collaborating on major annual programs. Responsibilities include sourcing venues, coordinating vendors and travel logistics, managing registration processes, and providing on-site support with authority to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. The Event Planner will also develop timelines, maintain budgets, track expenses, and refine event processes to scale the team's efficiency. Utilization of Salesforce and Pardot for building event communications and workflows forms an integral part of the role. Collaboration spans multiple departments, including Marketing, Procurement, Legal, Shared Services, and senior leadership, ensuring cohesive and aligned event execution.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • proven experience in event planning or related roles
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • proficiency with Salesforce and Pardot preferred
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to work 100% onsite in designated locations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in event management hospitality marketing or related field
  • proven experience in planning and executing corporate events
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • proficiency with event management software and CRM tools like Salesforce and Pardot
  • ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • experience working with multiple stakeholders and vendors

Job Duties
