The role of Event Party Coordinator at Five Star Parks & Attractions, located at Scene 75 in Cleveland, Ohio, is a part-time position offering an hourly wage between $16 and $18. This role is essential in managing the operations and guest experience surrounding birthday parties, company events, and other functions held at the park. The Event Party Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for incoming birthday party requests, whether these come through phone calls or website bookings. They play a vital role in ensuring seamless event execution, coordinating closely with both the guests and the operations team.
The coordinator will handle a wide range of responsibilities, including contacting booked events to provide detailed information and answer questions, overseeing party hosts and event setups, addressing guest concerns, and managing various administrative duties related to party planning and execution. This includes scheduling hosts, updating event reports, managing bookings, and assisting with programs designed to enhance the guest experience. Additionally, the Event Party Coordinator will ensure that company standards for party execution are maintained consistently, supporting the operations team in various day-of-event tasks and playing a leadership role by training and coaching party host staff.

Job Duties
- Contacting already booked events and providing detailed information
- cashing out parties
- maintaining the standards set by the company on party execution
- helping oversee the host staff with cleaning party areas, delivering food, setting up banquet spaces, and any day of duties needed for event execution
- handling any guest issues with their event with support of the operation team
- weekly administrative duties such as planning party area execution, making game cards, scheduling hosts, contacting party contacts to discuss event details, and answering questions about event packages
- answering incoming phone calls and emails about bookings and events
- booking birthday parties via phone and walk-in guests
- updating reports with new information about upcoming events
- outreach for booking new events via direction from the sales director
- assisting with the GIFT program during events
- assisting the party host team on daily duties
- re-stocking and cleaning party spaces
- being the point of contact for party issues during events
- hosting events when not performing coordinator duties
