The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is a full-time position designed for individuals eager to step up their careers and lead a dedicated team within Aramark's passionate Food Services division. This position involves working closely with a manager to coordinate and lead daily food service operations, ensuring that all activities meet the company's high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will oversee staff performance, maintain accurate food production and inventory records, and ensure that all food products are stored and served in compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also play a key role in training and mentoring team members to promote growth, morale, and teamwork.

The role requires a strong focus on maintaining a sanitary work environment and managing food safety protocols, including temperature checks and corrective actions when necessary. You will be responsible for managing work schedules, preparing production packets, and ensuring that catering events are well-coordinated and delivered on time, including occasional night and weekend events. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service supervision preferred
  • completion of or willingness to complete sanitation course
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights or weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage and lead a team
  • proficiency in multitasking and problem-solving
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • must complete a sanitation course before or during the first year

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
  • ensure food items are stored safely and organized
  • maintain serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications following company policies
  • maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
  • prepare orders as needed
  • supervise and evaluate employees
  • counsel and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • train and mentor other food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective action
  • perform preventative maintenance
  • recommend equipment replacement
  • multitask proficiently
  • perform duties assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees
  • manage catering event preparation and delivery
