The Operations Supervisor at Encore holds a pivotal role in managing day-to-day floor operations at hotel and convention center venues. This role is tailored for professionals who exhibit strong leadership capabilities with a passion for customer service and team development. Responsible for leading the technical team, the Operations Supervisor ensures the seamless setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment while maintaining operational efficiencies throughout the event lifecycle. Reporting to the DET, DOO, or Operations Manager, individuals in this position act as the bridge between venue management, customers, and the technical team to deliver outstanding event solutions.
This full-time hourly position offers a competitive pay range of $20.82 to $26.00 per hour, with final compensation reflective of individual qualifications, experience, and location. Additional opportunities for overtime, bonuses, or incentives may also be available.

A critical aspect of the role centers on providing exceptional customer service by maintaining positive client relationships and ensuring that all client needs are met promptly and expertly throughout the event. Acting as a mentor, this supervisor also supports the growth and training of technicians in adherence to Encore’s service and operational standards, fostering a positive and values-centered work environment.
In addition to staff leadership and customer engagement, this position demands technical proficiency in audiovisual equipment management. The Operations Supervisor is accountable for troubleshooting, equipment security, preventive maintenance, and coordinating the proper storage and transportation of event technology assets. The role involves an active participation in venue meetings and inventory activities, underscoring its operational significance.
Candidates seeking this role should expect to work in dynamic environments that include hotel and warehouse settings, often exposed to varying noise levels, outdoor elements, and physical demands such as lifting and climbing. Work hours may fluctuate and include irregular shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties to support event schedules.
