The company prides itself on its commitment to inclusivity, employee development, and operational excellence, fostering a workplace culture that values uniqueness and innovation. Encore operates with a focus on hospitality, professionalism, and world-class service, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly to meet and exceed client expectations.
The role of Operations Supervisor at Encore is a critical leadership position focused on managing floor operations to maximize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Event Technology (DET), Director of Operations (DOO), or Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor leads a team of technicians in the timely setup, maintenance, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment. This position plays an essential part in coordinating daily activities on the event floor, managing workflow, communicating with venue and event management, and ensuring that service standards are consistently met.
Beyond operational oversight, the Operations Supervisor acts as a mentor and trainer to the technical team, guiding new hires and facilitating ongoing development to support career growth. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to troubleshoot technical issues swiftly, and a commitment to maintaining equipment in optimal condition through preventative maintenance. In addition to managing onsite technical operations, the role may include administrative duties to support location-based operations and enhance efficiency.
Working with Encore means being part of a team that values ownership, teamwork, and integrity. The Operations Supervisor is expected to embody these values by delivering world-class service and creating an environment that supports employee growth and client satisfaction. This position requires adaptability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, often across multiple locations. Physical demands are significant as the position involves lifting heavy equipment and working in environments that range from quiet hotel settings to noisy, outdoor-exposed warehouses.
Compensation for this hourly role ranges from $29.04 to $29.05, determined based on various factors including experience, location, and specialized skills. Additionally, the role may be eligible for overtime, bonuses, or incentives, reflecting Encore’s recognition of effort and excellence. The company offers comprehensive benefits aimed at supporting employees and their families, fostering a balanced and rewarding work experience.
Overall, the Operations Supervisor at Encore is a pivotal team leader who ensures seamless audiovisual event delivery through effective management, skilled technical oversight, and exemplary customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
