The Operations Supervisor also collaborates closely with venue management and event teams to optimize workflows and communication across multiple venues.
This supervisory position reports to senior management within the department, such as the Director of Event Technology (DET), Director of Operations (DOO), or Operations Manager, and may also assist with administrative responsibilities to support onsite operations and professional growth. The role demands a hands-on approach to managing both equipment and people, ensuring security and maintenance of AV assets, while maintaining compliance with company safety and operational policies.
The Operations Supervisor is expected to actively participate in event meetings, including banquet event order discussions and pre-/post-event conferences, ensuring a thorough understanding of event requirements and client expectations. By meeting and communicating with guests throughout the event day, the supervisor upholds Encore’s commitment to exceeding customer service standards. With an hourly pay range from $18.93 to $24.61, the compensation for this role varies based on qualifications, experience, and location. The position often requires flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call status, reflecting the dynamic nature of events across various venues. Physical demands include lifting, standing, walking, and other activities necessary to manage AV equipment and support event logistics effectively.
Overall, the Operations Supervisor at Encore is a critical leadership role that blends technical expertise, operational management, and customer service excellence to deliver world-class event experiences around the globe.
