Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- External applicants must complete required training and certifications within 60 days
- Internal applicants must maintain required training and certifications per Encore standards
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Adherence to company appearance guidelines
- Must meet physical demands of the role including standing, walking, bending, stooping and climbing
- Must comply with company safety and security protocols
- Additional DOT requirements if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- 3-5 years of audiovisual experience required
- Knowledge of technical theory
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Experience leading workflow and team members
- Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles
- Completion of required training and certifications within prescribed timeframes
Job Duties
- Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment
- Performs daily floor management including directing the workflow of technicians and suggesting operational efficiencies
- Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed
- Works with team to establish coordinated communications for event management
- Attends venue meetings such as banquet event order meetings and pre/post conferences
- Provides excellent service to exceed customer expectations by upholding Encore's service standards
- Maintains positive client relationships through effective communication
- Meets with guests onsite to ensure their needs and equipment setup are met
- Monitors events and checks on customers throughout the day
- Assists in training technicians on floor activities and operational standards
- Serves as a mentor for new hires guiding their career journey
- Leads the team in the proper security, storage, transportation and maintenance of AV equipment
- Troubleshoots technical issues and resolves problems quickly
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment
- Participates in physical inventory counts as requested
