The role of Event Operations Specialist at Legends Global is pivotal to achieving high-quality event setup and breakdowns, ensuring smooth logistical operations and maintaining the venue’s exceptional standards. Located on-site at Pechanga Arena San Diego, this position requires a commitment to flexibility as shifts will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules. This role supports Operations and Event Managers by assisting with event-specific physical tasks such as preparing and dismantling locker rooms, dressing rooms, and seating arrangements tailored to each event’s requirements. Employees in this position also perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on venue facilities and parking areas, aiding in the seamless and safe execution of events. Responsibilities extend to loading and transporting supplies and materials for both on-site and off-site event setups and takedowns. Additionally, the Event Operations Specialist may be tasked with assisting in construction-related activities under management guidance and conducting thorough post-event clean-ups to prepare the venue for subsequent events. The role mandates safe operation of various equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, stagers, basketball floors, and terra floors, all while adhering strictly to safety protocols. This position offers $21.06 per hour and is designed for candidates with at least one year of experience in event operations or venue management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills along with the physical capability to handle demanding tasks associated with live event operations. Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1 year of experience in event operations, venue management, or a related field
  • physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted and perform physically demanding tasks
  • must be available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by the event schedule

Job Duties

  • assist in preparing and dismantling locker rooms, dressing rooms, and seating configurations to meet event specifications
  • perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on the facility and parking areas as directed by management
  • load, unload, and transport supplies and materials for on-site and off-site event setups and breakdowns
  • provide assistance with construction-related tasks as needed, under the direction of the management team
  • execute post-event clean-up tasks to maintain venue cleanliness and readiness for future events
  • safely operate operations equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, staging, basketball floors, and terra floors, adhering to safety protocols
  • perform other tasks assigned by management to support event operations and venue needs
