As a company, Encore prioritizes client satisfaction, technical quality, and fosters a culture of inclusivity and professional growth among its employees. The company operates in high-revenue locations and offers competitive salaries with comprehensive benefits to attract and retain top talent in the event technology and hospitality sectors.
This role is a pivotal Operations Manager position within Encore, focused on managing floor operations to ensure service excellence and outstanding customer experiences. Reporting directly to an Operations Director or Director of Event Technology at a location generating more than three million dollars in revenue, this position entails overseeing the workflow of technical teams responsible for delivering audio-visual and event services on time, meeting client specifications, and maintaining equipment standards. The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising and developing staff, managing inventory, supporting financial objectives through cost controls, and maintaining rigorous quality assurance protocols. The role demands strong leadership, a client-focused approach, and effective communication skills to work closely with clients, sales teams, and vendor partners.
In addition to operational management, the position involves mentoring and training team members to uphold Encore's core values of hospitality, ownership, and integrity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in audio-visual environments, a strong knowledge of industry technology, and the ability to motivate and develop technical staff for superior performance and client satisfaction. Candidates must be prepared to work in dynamic hotel and convention center settings, handle physical requirements such as lifting and standing for extended periods, and adapt to variable working conditions including noisy environments and irregular hours.
Encore values diversity and inclusivity, emphasizing a supportive workplace where every employee's contributions are recognized. This operational role offers an annual salary range of $70,304.00 to $74,938.00, with potential additional compensation opportunities such as overtime, bonuses, and incentives. Employees at Encore receive competitive benefits aimed at supporting their health, well-being, and professional development.
