Job Description
Cabot is a renowned global developer and operator specializing in world-class golf destinations, with an expanding portfolio of premium golf and resort properties located across North America, the Caribbean, and Europe. The Cabot portfolio exemplifies luxury hospitality, exceptional golf experiences, and unforgettable guest interactions through its meticulously maintained properties. This includes not only owned properties but also extends to management services provided to several distinguished golf clubs within the United States, such as Cascata Golf Club and Serket Golf Club in Nevada, Grand Bear Golf Club in Mississippi, and Chariot Run Golf Club in Indiana. Cabot's commitment at every location focuses on delivering outstanding service, operational excellence, and memorable experiences for guests, members, and homeowners alike.
The Event Operations Manager role is situated at two of Cabot's prestigious properties: Cascata Golf Club and Serket Golf Club, both located in Nevada and celebrated for their exceptional golf courses and stunning outdoor environments. Cascata offers a unique golf experience set against striking red-rock mountains and panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley, complemented by a majestic Tuscan-inspired clubhouse ideal for hosting weddings and events. Serket Golf Club is designed by Rees Jones and features 18 championship holes amid Nevada's Black Mountains, offering challenging play with breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip and a sophisticated clubhouse suited for intimate events.
As an Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the flawless execution of all banquet, tournament, wedding, and special event operations across both Cascata and Serket venues. This full-time, in-person position carries a competitive salary starting from $65,000 per year, and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The job demands strong leadership and operational excellence to ensure that every event meets Cabot's high standards of luxury service and guest satisfaction. You will act as the crucial operational liaison between event planning teams and on-site event execution, translating strategic goals into remarkable guest experiences. Your role will require you to manage and coordinate multiple high-profile events simultaneously, maintaining seamless communication with culinary, beverage, and general management teams, and ensuring staffing and service delivery are optimized.
Success in this position hinges on your ability to lead with decisiveness and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, your excellent organizational skills, and your passion for hospitality. You will recruit, coach, and manage a team of banquet and event service professionals, fostering a culture centered on accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional service. You will be involved in labor and financial management tasks including scheduling, budgeting support, and operational efficiency initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with culinary and beverage leaders to align menus and operational plans, contributing to innovative and memorable event experiences.
Working at Cabot provides a unique opportunity to contribute to some of the most luxury golf and event destinations in the world, with access to a network of esteemed properties. Cabot also prides itself on an inclusive, equal opportunity work environment, promoting diversity and fairness in every aspect of employment.
