Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Four or more years of experience in audio-visual and hospitality customer service
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead team workflows
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment and live event production
  • Proficiency in computer hardware and software
  • Effective leadership and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of audio-visual and hospitality experience
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience leading team workflows
  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment in live show settings
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Manages the daily floor activities and workflow of technicians to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment
  • Provides direct supervision of team members including scheduling and time keeping
  • Ensures billing is reviewed and approved by clients and escalates issues to management
  • Maintains updated and accurate daily equipment sheets
  • Manages inventory control procedures ensuring safety and quality assurance
  • Attends BEO, Pre-Cons, and pre-production meetings
  • Delegates tasks appropriately to team members
  • Reviews quotes and suggests cost efficiency improvements
  • Supervises and mentors staff to maximize client satisfaction and revenue
  • Provides outstanding customer service and fosters excellent client and vendor relationships
  • Meets with guests onsite to ensure equipment setup meets requirements
  • Enforces professional appearance and conduct standards
  • Promotes positive work environment and core values
  • Hires, develops, and motivates technicians and support staff
