Job Description
Icona Photo Booths is a distinguished, founder-led luxury event service company that specializes in premium vintage-inspired sit-in photo booth experiences for high-end weddings, private events, and brand activations across the Southeast United States. Established with a vision to provide unparalleled event experiences, Icona curates exceptional moments through its unique photo booth offerings, combining timeless charm with modern technology. Based in North Carolina, Icona Photo Booths is currently in an exciting phase of expansion, aiming to grow its footprint into the Georgia market and surrounding regions including Southern South Carolina and Northern Florida. This strategic growth speaks to the company’s commitment to delivering luxury event services beyond its established territories.
The role of Event Operations Manager for Coastal Georgia offers a distinctive opportunity for a motivated professional to lead the market operations and execution of events in this new and expanding region. This is not a traditional photo booth attendant position; rather, it is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing and executing events primarily on weekends, including afternoons and evenings, catering to an upscale clientele. The position entails responsibilities such as transporting, setting up, operating, and breaking down equipment, which includes handling heavy lifts of over 75 pounds and driving a company-owned pickup truck. The role necessitates strong operational skills, problem-solving abilities, and impeccable professionalism to represent the Icona brand at every event.
The Event Operations Manager will initially support between two to six events monthly, with growth anticipated as the market develops. Located primarily in Savannah, GA, and surrounding counties such as Beaufort, Jasper, Chatham, Bryan, and Effingham, the role demands geographical flexibility within approximately two hours of travel. This position is designed to be a long-term opportunity with a competitive salary ranging from $30,000 to $60,000 or more annually on a part-time basis, depending on experience and responsibilities, with significant growth potential as the business expands. The company emphasizes the value of professionalism, hospitality, sound judgment, and independence over prior photo booth experience, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds in hospitality, luxury hotels, event production, and food and beverage management.
The Event Operations Manager will be a key contributor to the success and expansion of Icona Photo Booths in Georgia, helping to establish and uphold the brand's reputation for quality, luxury, and exceptional guest experiences. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in dynamic environments, excels in client-facing interactions, values continuous growth, and is eager to take on leadership responsibilities as the company scales its regional market presence.
