- 2 or more years as banquet captain
- knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
- experience in event planning and execution
- proficiency in MS Office suite and database software preferred
- knowledge of POS register systems

Job Duties
- Host special events
- manage a team of event hosts
- oversee setup of event areas
- coordinate with sales and operations teams to create seamless event experiences
- develop personal connections with event clients to exceed guest expectations
- complete event reporting and use guest feedback to improve satisfaction
- forecast events and schedule staffing using client databases
- counsel and discipline staff according to HR policies
- work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours
