  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year or more of management experience
  • 2 or more years as banquet captain
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office suite and database software preferred
  • knowledge of POS register systems

Job Duties

  • Host special events
  • manage a team of event hosts
  • oversee setup of event areas
  • coordinate with sales and operations teams to create seamless event experiences
  • develop personal connections with event clients to exceed guest expectations
  • complete event reporting and use guest feedback to improve satisfaction
  • forecast events and schedule staffing using client databases
  • counsel and discipline staff according to HR policies
  • work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours
