The Dallas Cowboys, one of the most iconic and successful franchises in the National Football League (NFL), represent a large-scale, dynamic sports and entertainment organization. Their home venue, AT&T Stadium, located in Arlington, Texas, is a premier multi-purpose stadium recognized worldwide for hosting a wide variety of events beyond football, including concerts, high school football games, corporate functions, and community activities. The Dallas Cowboys organization is dedicated to delivering unparalleled experiences for fans, clients, and partners through meticulous planning, innovative event management, and seamless execution of large-scale events. This vibrant environment requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-centric atmosphere to uphold the high standards expected of the Cowboys brand and the world-class venue, AT&T Stadium.
The Event Coordinator role at the Dallas Cowboys and AT&T Stadium is pivotal to the successful administration and coordination of major stadium-wide events from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong customer service skills, adaptability, multitasking abilities, and a proactive mindset to anticipate and resolve any issues that arise during the planning and execution phases.
The Event Coordinator works directly under the supervision of the Senior Event Manager, assisting with event production notes, managing event documentation, coordinating with various departments and contractors, and ensuring that all operations comply with established safety and quality standards. This position requires hands-on involvement in venue walkthroughs, reviewing technical riders with event promoters, and managing high school football events and community activations such as Arlington ISD events and art programs hosted at the stadium. Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting at all organizational levels, ensuring clear and effective correspondence before and after events.
Candidates should be comfortable working flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as events at AT&T Stadium often occur outside of the traditional workweek. This role demands a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop is preferred. Prior experience in event production, including knowledge of audio/visual setups, facility rigging, and industry terminology, is highly valuable. The role challenges the Event Coordinator to balance internal priorities with client expectations, fostering positive relationships with part-time staff, contractors, and patrons to guarantee smooth event operations.
The Dallas Cowboys organization is committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities and maintaining a workplace free from discrimination and harassment. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading sports entertainment organization known for its excellence and innovation, where you can grow professionally while contributing to memorable events that engage thousands of attendees.
