The role of Event Operational and Technology Assistant Vice President is an exciting and dynamic position within iCapital’s Global Events team. This role is tailored for individuals who have extensive hands-on experience with event technology platforms, particularly CVENT, and are passionate about orchestrating the digital components of global events. The AVP will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of digital technology for iCapital’s diverse portfolio of high-profile client-facing events, conferences, and internal programs. This includes designing and managing registration platforms, setting up event websites, handling attendee communications including invitations and follow-ups, and ensuring data accuracy across events. The role requires close collaboration with event leads and cross-functional partners such as Marketing, Compliance, and Legal to guarantee seamless event delivery and content compliance. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, be comfortable juggling multiple concurrent projects across different time zones, and exhibit a proactive mindset eager to grow within global event operations. The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 along with equity opportunities and an annual performance bonus. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six years of event technology experience
  • Proficiency with CVENT or similar event management platforms
  • Experience in onsite event registration and badge printing
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage large datasets with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Capacity to manage multiple concurrent events across global time zones

Job Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in event technology and attendee management
  • Hands-on experience with registration website platforms such as CVENT
  • Proficient programming skills of HTML and CSS is beneficial
  • Onsite event registration experience
  • Experience with virtual meetings and event platforms
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel (comfortable with VLOOKUP function) and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing large datasets and registrations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to influence and lead by example, fostering a positive environment
  • Motivated, self-starter, able to take direction and work independently
  • Comfortable supporting multiple events simultaneously across time zones
  • Organized, proactive, and eager to grow within global event operations

Job Duties

  • Manage event technology execution across global events using CVENT
  • Build and manage event registration sites, agendas, forms, and workflows
  • Create and deploy event invitations, confirmations, reminders, and post-event communications
  • Manage attendee data, reporting, and list accuracy across multiple events
  • Support onsite registration setup, badge printing, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain event calendars, timelines, and technology documentation
  • Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Events, Compliance, and Legal to ensure accurate content and approvals
  • Support integrations with other tools and apply best practices for data hygiene and reporting
