We are currently seeking a highly organized, revenue-minded, and hospitality-driven professional to join our team in the role of Auction Strategy and Celebrity/VIP Travel Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Head of Events, this position offers the unique opportunity to take full ownership over two high-impact areas: the strategic planning and execution of auctions, both live and silent, and the meticulous coordination of celebrity and VIP travel logistics for our Golf, Gala, and select third-party events. This role demands a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exhibits operational excellence, and demonstrates strong relational intelligence. The ideal individual will have a passion for driving revenue through innovative auction strategies, managing complex logistics with high-touch customers, and ensuring that every element of the event reflects a high standard of professionalism and excellence.
The responsibilities of this position are varied and require a blend of creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and an adeptness in relationship management. From sourcing and securing coveted auction items and experiences to developing pricing strategies that align with donor psychology, the role embraces the full auction lifecycle. Moreover, the management of auction platforms and on-site execution is crucial for driving revenue and enhancing donor experiences. On the travel coordination side, this role is essential for ensuring celebrities and VIP guests have seamless experiences from arrival to departure, including schedule management and proactive resolution of any travel changes. The coordinator will also work closely with various departments such as Marketing, Development, Finance, and Events to strengthen systems, improve operational clarity, and safeguard confidential information.
This position is ideal for someone with 3 to 5 plus years of experience in event management, fundraising, hospitality, or travel logistics who is comfortable managing complex projects independently. The candidate should possess exceptional organization and communication skills, a calm, solution-oriented demeanor under pressure, and the highest level of professionalism and discretion. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent experience is also considered. Job Duties
