Joyce is currently seeking a highly motivated Event Marketing Team Lead for the Charlotte and Columbia markets. This role is instrumental in driving lead generation and appointment setting at various events. It is a hands-on, field-based position that requires actively engaging with homeowners to generate leads and set appointments while leading a team by example. As an Event Marketing Team Lead, you will be at the forefront of performance, coaching your team in real time to maximize results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. With a base salary of $55,000 complemented by a $500 monthly car allowance, a $100 monthly phone allowance, and performance bonuses linked to lead generation and appointment setting, this role offers a competitive compensation package.

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to leadership, demonstrating the ability to inspire and motivate team members directly at event sites. Responsibilities extend beyond leadership to include supporting event setup and teardown duties, emphasizing a team-oriented work culture. This role demands a results-driven mindset focused on surpassing lead generation and appointment targets consistently. The position also requires flexibility, including working evenings and weekends and the ability to travel across the Charlotte and Columbia markets. Previous experience in event marketing, retail sales, canvassing, or lead generation is highly valued, and expertise in home improvement or construction event marketing is considered a bonus.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience in event marketing, retail sales, canvassing, or lead generation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within Charlotte and Columbia markets
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to lift and handle event equipment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of event marketing, retail sales, canvassing or lead-generation experience
  • Desire to grow into leadership through performance and leading by example
  • Comfortable approaching strangers and starting conversations
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Charlotte and Columbia markets
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require
  • A results-driven mindset focused on lead generation
  • Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment

Job Duties

  • Generate leads and set appointments with homeowners at events
  • Actively engage attendees and create interest in Joyce products
  • Lead from the front by demonstrating high-performance lead generation
  • Coach and motivate team members on-site to improve results
  • Help new team members ramp up quickly through hands-on training
  • Support event setup and teardown as part of a hands-on team environment
