Operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, Gulfstream has established itself as a leader in aviation by consistently delivering the world’s most technologically advanced business jets. The company prides itself on fostering a culture of trust, respect, and integrity while investing heavily in its employees to ensure they have the tools and environment to thrive. Gulfstream's commitment to excellence extends beyond its aircraft, emphasizing workforce development, meaningful connections, and a supportive workplace, thereby enabling both individual and collective success. With a reputation for crafting exclusive aviation experiences, Gulfstream’s operations cover various functions including marketing, manufacturing, customer support, and employee engagement events.

The role of Event Marketing Specialist 2 at Gulfstream is a dynamic and pivotal position within the Marketing department, based at the GAC Savannah location. This full-time role is ideal for a highly organized and innovative professional with a passion for delivering world-class events that elevate brand presence and foster customer loyalty. With a significant $5,000 sign-on bonus available, the position reflects Gulfstream’s dedication to attracting top talent. The Event Marketing Specialist 2 is responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and evaluation of a broad array of events including multi-day conferences, air shows, galas, sporting and hospitality occasions, employee offsite meetings, roadshows, and internal luncheons. These events span multiple venues such as hotels, convention centers, and aircraft display areas, requiring exceptional multi-venue orchestration and vendor relationship management.

Key competencies include a strong ability to remain agile and calm under pressure, handling onsite troubleshooting for unanticipated challenges like weather changes or technical issues. The role demands white-glove hospitality skills tailored to VIP clients, ensuring a seamless guest experience through thoughtful flow mapping and subtle brand integration that enhances the company’s image without overshadowing it. Technical prowess is also essential, with fluency expected in event registration platforms, virtual and hybrid event tools, and live streaming technologies. Spatial design knowledge is used to optimize room layouts, lighting, and acoustics, greatly enhancing attendee engagement and comfort.

Analytical and organizational capabilities are central to the position, focusing on data-driven decision-making from attendee feedback and budget-conscious planning. The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and vendors, to align event objectives and maintain stringent timeline discipline. Effective communication is crucial for building confidence with executives and customers alike. Exceptional interpersonal skills and proactive problem-solving ensure that events not only meet but exceed expectations, contributing to Gulfstream’s mission to deliver outstanding aviation experiences. This role entails up to 50 percent travel, providing diverse exposure and the chance to represent Gulfstream at high-profile events worldwide.
