Job Description
Brex is a leading fintech company that revolutionizes financial services and products for startups and growing businesses. Founded with the mission to empower companies with intuitive and seamless financial tools, Brex offers comprehensive solutions designed to help businesses manage expenses, corporate cards, cash management, and spend tracking all in one place. Serving a dynamic and innovative community, Brex combines technology with finance to enable businesses to move faster and make smarter financial decisions. The company is known for its strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric approach, continually driving improvements across its offerings to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses.
The Marketing team at Brex plays an essential role in telling the Brex story, developing strategic messaging, and translating complex products and features into clear, tangible benefits for customers. This team consists of specialists in Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing who work cross-functionally and closely with Product, Sales, and Business Development teams. Their goal is to acquire new customers and grow the pipeline by demonstrating how Brex solutions support businesses in reaching their highest potential.
The role of an Event Marketing Manager at Brex is a pivotal position within the Corporate Events team under Revenue Marketing. This role involves managing a portfolio of B2B events targeting founders, finance leaders, and operational professionals. Reporting directly to the Head of Events, the manager will oversee event execution from initial briefing through to post-event reporting, ensuring each event delivers high engagement, quality experience, and consistent ROI. This is a hands-on role requiring coordination with sales, field marketing, brand design, and vendor management. The manager will also have the opportunity to influence the overall portfolio strategy and event operations.
Based in one of Brex’s hubs in San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Salt Lake City, or Vancouver, the Event Marketing Manager enjoys a flexible hybrid work environment with a minimum of three days in the office per week and up to four weeks of fully remote work annually. This flexibility supports both collaboration and personal productivity.
The key responsibilities include owning the company’s presence at selected events, managing vendor relationships and budgets, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless sales follow-through to maximize the marketing and sales impact. The role also encompasses developing booth experiences aligned with the Brex brand, improving event processes for scalability, and evaluating new opportunities for events that align with target audiences and pipeline goals. Travel is required up to 50% of the time to manage onsite event components.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for an event marketing professional to grow within a fast-paced fintech environment while making a significant impact on customer acquisition and brand presence. The expected salary range is $92,000 to $115,000, with actual compensation depending on factors like location, skills, and experience. Equity and additional compensation elements may also be part of the total package, reflecting Brex’s commitment to attracting talent who can contribute to their innovative growth journey.
