The role of Event Marketing Manager within TP’s North America Field Marketing team is critical to the company’s strategic marketing initiatives. This position involves leading the comprehensive planning, strategy development, and execution of a wide portfolio of events, including industry trade shows, owned national engagement events, as well as regional in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. The primary objective of these events is to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and client engagement to support sales and business development efforts. The Event Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and account management teams to ensure seamless and effective event management that delivers measurable ROI.

This role demands a strategic, detail-oriented professional adept at managing complex event logistics, budgets, and post-event analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high target audience registrations and attendance, securing speakers, and crafting compelling thought leadership content to enhance event value. They will also stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event strategies.

This position is fully remote, recognizing the evolving nature of modern work environments, with the expectation of regular travel to event locations, approximately 1-2 times per month depending on business needs. The target salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, plus a 5% annual bonus opportunity, reflecting the importance and seniority of this role within the organization.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant event marketing experience
  • proficiency in event management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • strong project and budget management skills
  • ability to work independently and remotely
  • excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • availability for travel approximately 1-2 times per month
  • marketing or related degree preferred
  • ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders
  • must pass pre-employment background checks including drug tests

Job Qualifications

  • 7+ years of event marketing experience in B2B services or technology industries preferred
  • experience in corporate-level event management including production, marketing, and logistics
  • marketing or related degree preferred
  • ability to manage events across multiple time zones and regions with a strategic and result-oriented mindset
  • proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and event management software such as Cvent, Goldcast, ON24, Eventbrite, or similar platforms
  • proven project management and problem-solving skills
  • self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative with the ability to develop engaging event experiences
  • professional and productive under tight deadlines
  • excellent written and oral communication skills including collaboration and negotiation with vendors, peers, partners, and internal senior stakeholders
  • willingness to travel to event locations
  • ability to pass mandatory pre-employment background checks including pre-screening and drug tests
  • knowledge and practice of process excellence, collaboration, communication, emotional intelligence, open-mindedness, critical thinking, solution orientation, entrepreneurship, AI proficiency, and data literacy

Job Duties

  • Manage end-to-end event planning and execution from conceptualization to on-site delivery
  • oversee logistics for large-scale and regional events including trade show booths, VIP events, and smaller high-touch events and dinners
  • manage event budgets with attention to detail and perform ROI analysis
  • communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines
  • drive target audience registrations and attendance while securing speakers for thought leadership content
  • collaborate with broader marketing teams to integrate event activities with overall marketing strategy
  • utilize social media to promote event participation and build brand awareness
  • provide exceptional attendee support during events
  • conduct post-event activities and reporting to inform future event improvements
