We are currently seeking an Entry Level Event Marketing Manager to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Columbus, OH, with weekly pay ranging from $900 to $1,400, depending on performance. As an Event Marketing Manager at Odyssey Exposure, you will play a key leadership role in managing high-energy pop-up fundraising campaigns at retail locations, community spaces, and busy public venues around Greater Columbus. Our campaigns are fast-paced, requiring hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations and real-time decision making to ensure successful fundraising outcomes.
This position is designed for individuals eager to develop leadership skills from the ground up. No prior management experience is necessary; we believe in promoting from within and providing comprehensive leadership training. You will start managing a team of Event Marketing Coordinators right away, motivating and guiding them to meet and exceed campaign goals. Success in this role depends on your ability to lead with authenticity, keep team morale high, and sustain energy throughout long campaigns.
Your responsibilities will include planning logistics, overseeing setup and breakdown at multiple event locations, coaching your team, monitoring fundraising progress, and recruiting new team members as the operations expand. You will serve as the face of the campaign not only to your team but also to donors and partner nonprofits, embodying the mission and values of Odyssey Exposure.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior management experience required
- Proven ability in a leadership or responsibility role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Must be physically able to work on site in Columbus, OH
- Legal right to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Leading a team of Event Marketing Coordinators across active pop-up fundraising campaigns
- keeping energy high, performance on track, and everyone motivated
- Running pop-up operations end-to-end, planning logistics, overseeing setup and breakdown, managing multiple locations, making real-time adjustments
- Coaching and developing team members in real time, modeling excellent donor engagement, giving constructive feedback, celebrating wins
- Hitting weekly fundraising targets, owning campaign results, holding self and team accountable
- Tracking and reporting individual and team performance data to senior leadership
- Recruiting and onboarding new team members, contributing to training processes
- Being the face of the campaign representing the team, donors, and nonprofit partners
