The role of Event Marketing Manager within Pentair’s Pool business unit, based in Charlotte, NC, offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and results-driven marketing team. This full-time position involves leading the development and execution of comprehensive event programs, including tradeshows, hands-on technical training sessions, incentive trips, and annual sales and service summits. The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end event management, ensuring each event delivers exceptional attendee experiences, drives measurable return on investment, and stays within budget. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business, liberal arts, or equivalent
- Minimum 7-10 years event production experience
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in event management
- Skilled contract negotiation and vendor management
- Must reside in Charlotte, NC
- Willingness to travel up to 50% including globally and outside business hours
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business tools
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Build, lead, and execute event and experience strategy for the Pool business
- Plan and execute internal and external events end to end, including tradeshows, technical training, sales and service summits, and incentive trips
- Direct strategy, planning, and execution of branded merchandise and customer appreciation items
- Lead all aspects of event planning including site selection, contract negotiation, budgeting, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event evaluation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Customer Care, Product, and Demand teams
- Oversee operational logistics such as vendor management, staffing, shipping, and catering
- Develop event-specific creative briefs, messaging, product displays, promotions, and assets
- Establish event measurement frameworks with KPI tracking, ROI analysis, and budget management
- Lead post-event follow-up and lead nurturing efforts
- Evaluate and implement innovative digital-first and hybrid event approaches
- Manage vendor and partner relationships
- Manage event-related assets and inventory
- Lead and develop the event team fostering a collaborative culture
- Travel to attend key events ensuring seamless execution and brand representation
- Perform other duties as required
