The role of the Event Marketing Coordinator at FUJIFILM Biosciences is a strategic position within the marketing department focused on the planning, coordination, and execution of global marketing events. These events include trade shows, account-specific events, seminars, webinars, and commercial meetings designed to increase customer engagement, product awareness, and brand visibility. As the Event Marketing Coordinator, the individual will be responsible for managing the logistics of various events from start to finish. This includes venue coordination, handling registrations, managing travel arrangements, overseeing the shipping of materials, setting up booths, and ensuring smooth onsite execution.
This position demands strong collaboration skills as the coordinator will work closely with multiple internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development (R&D), in addition to external partners and vendors. Budget management is another critical focus area, requiring meticulous tracking of event-related expenses using tools like Salesforce.com. The role also involves managing promotional materials, branded merchandise, and inventory, as well as maintaining and coordinating the repair and design of event assets such as booth properties and graphics.

Job Requirements
- College/university or specialty training in event and meeting planning
- 4-5 years of experience managing marketing events, trade shows, or conferences
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively with vendors and external partners
- Knowledge of organization, planning, records management and general administration principles
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Basic understanding of marketing mix and trade show logistics
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- College/university or specialty training in event and meeting planning
- Experience in event marketing considered in lieu of education
- 4-5 years of experience managing marketing events, trade shows, or conferences
- Strong project management, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively with tradeshow vendors, logistics and transportation companies, commercial trade representatives and exhibition managers
- Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Basic knowledge of the marketing mix, promotion and trade show logistics
- Ability to speak read and write English effectively
Job Duties
