Job Duties

  • Handles all event communication details from post sales turnover to event completion
  • ensures events progress seamlessly by following established procedures and collaborating with associates
  • greets customers during the event phase and transitions to event operations team
  • adheres to all property standards, policies, and procedures
  • ensures billing accuracy and reviews bills with clients
  • manages group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups
  • identifies and solves operational challenges related to events
  • integrates current trends in event management into event planning
  • acts as liaison between sales and customers throughout event phases
  • solicits additional business for sales follow-up
  • participates in customer site inspections
  • solicits feedback to improve event planners' experiences
  • builds and manages vendor relationships
  • delivers excellent customer service throughout the event process
  • empowers associates to provide excellent service
  • sets positive guest relations examples
  • coordinates event details verbally and in writing
  • oversees customer experiences from file turnover through post-event
  • follows up with customers post-event
  • responds to and resolves guest complaints
