The hotel features a pillarless ballroom equipped with rigging for lights, a private lounge with luxury seating for intimate gatherings, and an inviting outdoor courtyard complete with a firepit that creates a warm atmosphere. Known for its distinguished reputation in hospitality, the Washington Hilton is part of the Hilton brand, a global leader in the hotel industry since 1919. Hilton is renowned for its commitment to innovation, quality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences across its diverse portfolio of full-service hotels and resorts worldwide.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Events Manager to join our vibrant Events team at the Washington Hilton. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $31.25 per hour, plus the potential for sales incentives, and includes medical insurance coverage available for you and your family. The Events Manager will work primarily Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, with the need for weekend and evening flexibility depending on event schedules. The role is essential in ensuring the flawless execution of banquet and catering events, contributing both to guest satisfaction and the financial success of the hotel.

Your responsibilities will include liaising directly with on-site group and catering clients, addressing their inquiries regarding group room blocks, food and beverage services, function spaces, vendor coordination, and billing processes. Monitoring service quality and satisfaction trends, resolving guest concerns in a timely and professional manner, preparing detailed reports and correspondence related to group activity, and leading meetings when required are all crucial elements of this role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in hotel or event management and will be adaptable, dependable, and focused on delivering high-quality customer service.
