The role of an Event Manager at BEST Crowd Management is pivotal to the successful planning and execution of event security and crowd control operations. This position requires a proactive leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day event operations, ensuring adequate staffing, managing conflict and emergency situations, and maintaining precise communication with team members and clients. The Event Manager reports directly to the General Manager and Account Manager, playing a strategic role in operational planning and execution. They are tasked with mentoring and coaching staff to uphold high morale, productivity, and professionalism while also recruiting and training new team members as needed. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with motor vehicle record
  • Excellent management skills
  • Customer focus and strong communication skills
  • Leadership orientation and team leadership experience
  • Pass an extensive screening process
  • Minimum 4 years supervisory experience in security, military, or law enforcement
  • Proactive initiative and adaptability
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in event staffing, security, or sports management preferred
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Possess or willingness to obtain valid security license if required

Job Duties

  • Ensure all day-to-day operations are operating within company procedures
  • Manage event operations including staff check-in, conflict support, and emergency situations
  • Suggest operation strategies to improve execution and cost-effectiveness
  • Communicate goals to operations team and maintain accurate records for reports
  • Proactively communicate with customers and seek feedback to improve satisfaction
  • Supervise and coach subordinates to maintain morale and productivity
  • Mentor, coach, develop subordinates, and recruit and train team members
  • Submit timely and accurate payroll records
  • Be on call during weekends, evenings, and outside core business hours
  • Perform other duties as required
