Currently, ECG is seeking an experienced Event Manager with a demonstrated background in orchestrating incentive travel programs and corporate meetings. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency setting and possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills. A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation is preferred, highlighting the company’s commitment to industry standards and professional development.

The Event Manager will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing incentive travel and meeting programs from start to finish. This includes managing multiple complex client programs involving 25 to 700 attendees and overseeing all logistical components such as budgeting, timeline management, vendor coordination, and hotel arrangements. Working closely with internal teams and external vendors, the Event Manager will ensure seamless event operations and create customized, memorable experiences tailored to client needs.

Key responsibilities involve detailed project management covering venue arrangements including room blocks, banquet orders, audio-visual needs, hospitality setups, transportation logistics, printing and creative collateral, gifting, and post-event reconciliation. The role also includes collaborating with the Registration Manager to manage attendee registration platforms, hotel room blocks, air travel logistics, activity registrations, onsite preparations such as print materials and name badges, and final event reporting.

Candidates should have strong proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, along with experience in event management software and mobile event app creation. A college degree and 3-5 years of incentive or meeting industry experience are required. Agency or incentive travel program experience is essential.

The position is based in Severna Park, Maryland, with preference for in-office work, although hybrid or remote arrangements are possible. The role requires the flexibility to travel internationally up to 15 percent of the time, and to work outside of regular hours during event execution and busy planning periods. Job Duties
