The Event Manager role at Live Nation's venue, The Truth, is a part-time position vital to the venue's operational success. This position plays a key leadership role within the operations team, supporting the seamless execution of concerts, special events, and other venue activities. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Director of Special Events, the Event Manager ensures the venue is fully prepared, well-staffed, and capable of delivering exceptional experiences to guests, artists, and clients. This entails day-of-event leadership by coordinating communication across departments, monitoring venue conditions, and assisting in real-time decision-making and problem resolution. The role requires strong ability to manage operational readiness, staff effectiveness, and guest experience initiatives, contributing to the successful outcomes of all venue events.
Typical responsibilities include supporting event execution from preparation through closeout, coordinating with diverse departments such as Guest Services, Security, Facilities, Food & Beverage, Box Office, and Production to guarantee seamless event flow. The Event Manager conducts thorough pre-event readiness inspections and assists the Operations Manager with VIP program logistics. Leadership duties extend to facilitating staff briefings, check-ins, and post-event debriefs. During events, the manager monitors operations, supports staffing through deployment and break coordination, and helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment. They also assist with training and development of supervisors and part-time staff to uphold venue standards. Additionally, the manager supports client-facing event execution and oversees private and special events.
Candidates should possess a working knowledge of high-volume venue operations and event management, combined with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The role demands ability to make quick, informed decisions and effectively de-escalate challenging situations while fostering positive relationships with guests, staff, and clients. Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are critical. The position requires professionalism, calmness under pressure, teamwork, and a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays as events demand. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience in live entertainment, hospitality, venue operations, or event management is preferred.

Job Duties
- Support the successful execution of concerts, special events, and venue activities from pre-event preparation through event closeout
- Serve as a day-of-event leader and operational resource for department managers, supervisors, and part-time staff
- Coordinate with Guest Services, Security, Facilities, Food & Beverage, Box Office, Production, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution
- Conduct pre-event venue readiness inspections and assist in ensuring all guest-facing and back-of-house areas are event ready
- Assist Operations Manager with show VIP programs

- Collaborate with venue leadership to identify opportunities for operational improvements and enhanced guest experiences
