As a part of Walters Hospitality, the company prides itself on meticulous attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and a commitment to quality that ensures every wedding and event lives up to its clients' expectations. This esteemed venue combines picturesque settings with professional event management to make every celebration seamless and memorable for all attendees.

The role of the Event Manager at Walters Wedding Estates is a pivotal position within the food and beverage team during events. The Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution of events from start to finish, ensuring that the team delivers exemplary service and that all aspects of the event run smoothly. A key responsibility is maintaining strict adherence to food safety protocols and company policies, which helps uphold the venue's stellar reputation.

Holding a hands-on leadership role, the Event Manager will lead the set-up and breakdown of event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), spearheading food and beverage operations along with back-of-house functions. Ensuring venue cleanliness before and after events falls under the purview of the position, as well as managing inventory by procuring and ordering necessary supplies, including alcohol, with quality control in mind. By nurturing and developing employees through training, coaching, and feedback during events, this role contributes significantly to employee growth and team cohesion.

This position offers part-time hours primarily on weekends and evenings when events take place, reflecting the nature of the hospitality industry. Compensation ranges from $17 to $20 per hour based on experience, alongside a 401(k) plan with a 4% match, emphasizing Walters Wedding Estates' investment in its employees' long-term wellbeing. Candidates must be flexible, reliable, and ready to work weekends, holidays, and late nights to support memorable celebrations.
