As a dedicated part of the hospitality industry, Walters Wedding Estates prides itself on creating a breathtaking and seamless experience for couples and guests alike. Situated in a picturesque setting, the venue offers a combination of elegant event spaces, exquisite cuisine, and top-notch service that ensures an unparalleled event experience. The company focuses on personalized attention to detail and creating memorable, stress-free occasions that leave lasting impressions for their clients. The culture at Walters Wedding Estates is supportive and dynamic, encouraging continuous learning and teamwork among its staff to maintain the highest standards of excellence in the event management industry.

As an Event Manager at Walters Wedding Estates, you step into a pivotal role that places you at the forefront of the food and beverage team during events, directly contributing to the overall success and smooth execution of every celebration hosted at the venue. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role offers a hands-on opportunity to lead and manage the dynamic aspects of event operations, particularly in managing banquet staff and overseeing food and beverage services. You will play a key role in hiring, training, and coaching team members, including bartenders, servers, and dishwashers, ensuring that the team operates cohesively and efficiently. This role also requires managing scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels for each event, guaranteeing seamless service delivery.

Beyond staff management, the Event Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards in executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensuring that every guest enjoys a five-star experience. A thorough understanding and rigorous application of safe food handling guidelines are essential to this position, safeguarding the health and safety of both clients and staff. The Event Manager also spearheads all food and beverage and back-of-house operations during events, managing the setup and breakdown of event spaces as per the BEO specifications, and maintaining venue cleanliness before and after events. Additionally, this role may involve procurement responsibilities such as ordering event-specific supplies, including alcohol, while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The Event Manager position at Walters Wedding Estates is a part-time role primarily scheduled on weekends and evenings when events take place. The hourly compensation ranges from $17 to $20, depending on experience, complemented by a 401k plan with a 4% company match. Candidates should be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, and late nights to fully support the event schedule. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and event management who are eager to grow their skills in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. If you are driven by creating memorable moments and enjoy working with a collaborative team, the Event Manager role at Walters Wedding Estates offers a rewarding path to bringing dreams to life through exceptional event management.
